不要以貌取人Never judge a book by its cover

　　My new friend Jack is a fashion follower who often wears strange clothes and long hair. But my mother drove him away from our flat at the first sight yesterday. She thought he was a bad person, although she didn't know him at all.

　　However, mom totally changed her mind this morning. When we were walking down the street near our home, we witnessed an accident. A boy was hit by a car when he was walking across the road with headphones. Many people saw it, but at first no one knew how to help. Then someone rushed forwards and covered the boy with his coat to keep warm. He looked after him well until the ambulance came. It was Jack! His calmness and seasoned first aid skills moved mom. She went and apologized to Jack for her former attitute, and told him that he was always welcome to our home.

　　That gives me a lesson. The appearance may reflect one's interest, but it isn't the symbol of one's quality. We should never judge a book with its cover.

導(dǎo)盲犬的由來The History of Guide Dog

　　In 1981,a doctor and his pet dog walked with a blind soldier.The doctor stayed in the hospital for a short time .When he came out ,he saw his pet dog had guided the soldier to the other side of the hospital and it worked out well .Germany helped start a program to teach dogs to be guide dogs .

　　Dorothy ,an American woman ,went to Germany to find out about the guide dogs .When she came back to the USA ,she wrote about it for a magazine.Soon more people knew about the guild dogs.The best dogs for the job are clever and fit . It tekes more than two years to train a little dog to be a guild dog.When the dog is 14 months old , it learns many instructions . Then the owner and the dog meet,and they practice for four weeks .Then the dog can work well for the owner.

五一勞動節(jié)The Labor’s Day

　　May first is a Sunday. And it is the Labor’s Day. My mother said to me :“Open your eyes!And look out of the window. What a fine day! Let’s go to park,” So my mother, my classmate and I went to the park. We took some foods in my schoolbag. On the way to the park, I saw the blue sky with snow-white clouds. I saw pear trees and some apple trees and so on. Below the trees, there are several kinds of flowers. It’s colorful, blue, red, yellow, pink, purple, orange and white. I saw some balloons and butterflies in the sky. I ate popcorn, cornflakes, banana and lollipop. They were wonderful.

　　In the afternoon, we went to the zoo. I visited the birds, mice, cats, dogs, budgies, hamsters, rabbits and so on.

　　May Day is my favorite day!

　　五月的第一天是一個星期天，也是勞動節(jié)。我媽媽對我說：“睜開你的眼睛!看看窗外。多么晴朗的一天!我們?nèi)ス珗@吧，”所以我的母親，我的同學(xué)和我去了公園。我們在書包里帶了一些食物。在去公園的路上，我看到藍(lán)色的天空和雪白的云。我看見梨樹和一些蘋果樹等等。在樹下，有幾種花，顏色鮮艷：藍(lán)色、紅色、黃色、粉色、紫色、橙色和白色。在空中我看到一些氣球和蝴蝶。我吃了爆米花、玉米片、香蕉和棒棒糖。它們是美妙的。
