　　Liu Wei was chosen as one of the ten touching figures of 20xx in China, winning the “Moving China” Award.

　　Liu was born in 1987. He lost both his arms when he was ten after an accident. Two years later, he learned to swim and managed to take two gold medals in the National Paralyzed Swimming Championship at 14. Soon after that he was forced to give up swimming due to physical condition. At 19, he began to practice playing the piano by tapping keys with his toes. His efforts finally paid off. He became Champion of China's Got Talent in 20xx and gave a memorable performance in Vienna's Golden hall in 20xx.

If he does not understand something, he may stop and reread it, or go in search of elucidation before continuing. The reader can accelerate his pace when the material is easy or less than interesting, and slow down when it is difficult or absorbing. If what he reads is moving, he can put down the book for a few moments and cope with his emotions without fear of losing anything.

In the television experience the eyes and ears are overwhelmed with the immediacy of sights and sounds.

When confront with cooperation and competition, people seems to have a difficult time in choosing them. Some people tend to compete with each other for they believe they can win rewards by defeating others. Some hold that we should cooperate with each other. Some think that we should not only cooperate with others but we should compete with others as well. In my opinion, I think that competing is more important for us. Reasons are listed below.

　　First of all, competing is more important than cooperation in our society. In school, we compete with others by doing better in our study. When we are looking for jobs, we compete with others applying for the same position. When we go to a competition, we fight with others for rewards or fame.
