　　On hearing the news, I felt so sorrowful. “Why was the god so cruel to them?” I asked. They were still at the entrance of the life. I had my deepest sympathy on the people in the disastrous area. So I donated some money and clothes to them. And I also prayed for the dead people sincerely. At that time, the building and the glass were shaking, and the earthquake occurred two times in ten seconds. As a result, it interrupted the exam.The students and the teachers shouted,"earthquake!earthquake……"The teacher quickly organized students withdraw. Luckily, more than 800 students and teachers withdraw 50 meters away from the teaching building to playground safe and sound.

　　3月29日13時左右，新疆一中學正在月考考試中，此時突然發生了強烈地震，約5.6級。當時，樓體搖晃，玻璃搖晃發生巨響，地震在十幾秒之內發生了兩次，中斷了考試。師生驚呼：“地震了!地震了……”該校教師迅速組織學生撤離，800多名中小學師生撤離到離教學樓50米開外的操場，安然無恙。

　　這場災難沒造成悲劇全賴于該校長期進行安全演練，每學期都要進行2-3次緊急撤離逃生演練。師生掌握了快速逃生撤離的本領，大大增強了地質災害和火災等災難降臨時的逃生能力，有效地避免了災難中人員傷亡的發生。
