　　With the development of high-tech equipment, especially smart phones, people in growing numbers tend to become addicted to the excessive use of them. According to a survey carried out in China Daily several days ago, almost 47% of citizens explain that they would experience certain kind of anxiety without cellphones at hand. Meanwhile, the overusing of cellphones, firstly, would exert detrimental impact on the health of us. What’s worse, it would perform a negative character in interpersonal relationship since we have less time to communicate.

　　Judging from the evidence above, certain measures should be taken. Firstly, certain institutions in China should launch relevant campaigns to limit the excessive ust of cellphones. Moreover, we ,as college students, should put emphasis on it right from ourselves as a start.

　　Cell phone seems to be one of the most important inventions of 20 century. Using cell phones to surf the Internet has become quite common in our daily lives. Cell phone has exceeded its original function such as making phones calls or sending message. Its multi-functions have make people’s tedious lives more colorful. Many people, especially the young generation, have found that they can not live without their cell phones. Many people feel uncomfortable in absence of their cell phones. This may become a symptom called cell phone dependency.

　　手機似乎是20世紀最重要的發明之一。用手機來上網是一件很平常的事情。手機已經超越了原有的打電話和發信息的功能，多功能的手機讓人們平淡的生活變得有趣起來。很多人，特別是青少年，沒了手機就不能活。很多人覺得不用手機不自在。這種癥狀可以稱為手機成癮癥。

　　First, many people have addicted to cell phones, they spend considerable time and money on the phone, for it provide with numerous games and applications. Some of them even use cell phones as computers that they keep the phone open for all day long. As to some students, some of them even use the phones to play games in the class, when they should focus on their study instead. In this case, parents and teachers should limit the time that children spending on the cell phones, for its have more disadvantages than advantages.

　　首先，很多人對手機成癮。他們花了大量的時間和金錢在手機上玩游戲和各種手機應用。有些人甚至像使用電腦一樣使用手機，24小時全天開機。至于某些學生，在課堂上玩手機游戲，他們應該好好學習的。在這種情況下，老師和家長應該限制孩子們玩手機的時間，畢竟弊大于利。

　　Second, the dependency on cell phones has shown people’s anxiety towards to their social interrelationship. A day without cell phone just feels like getting lost in this big world. Every day, people tend to check their cell phones to see if they have got any messages or surf the Internet, but the cell phone truly affects their normal life.

　　其次，對手機的依賴表示人們的人際關系很緊張。一天不玩手機就像在這個世界里迷路了一樣。每天，人們都會看看自己的手機是否收到了短信或者用它來上網，但是手機真的影響到了人們的正常生活。

　　There is no denying that cell phones have brought us considerable convenient. However, we should be aware of the negative effects that cell phones have brought to us. Just put down your cell phone for a while, and you will find that without your phone life can still be wonderful, too.

People can use phones to surf the Internet, update their personal micro blog, and upload their latest pictures at any place, anytime. It seems that smart phones have already become an indispensable part in people’s daily lives. However, some people are indulging in smart phones, which already have side-effect on their normal life.

　　隨著當代科技的迅速發展，智能手機以其卓越的功能風靡全球。人們可以在任何時間、任何地點用它來上網，更新個人微博，上傳自己的最新照片。看起來智能手機已經成為人們生活中不可缺的一部分了。然而，有些人過渡沉迷于智能手機，以至于影響了正常生活。

　　Some people, especially teenagers, are easily fall for Smartphone for these reasons. First of all, nowadays, people are under great pressure, while cell phone provides a platform for people to relax themselves. By playing mini-games, vocal chatting with friends, watching movies and listening to music, people can easily forget their problems temporary. Second, there are always something new on the phone. It is can be interesting, mysterious and various. So people are eager to turn on their phones, want to know what is happening around them. When people spend too much time on the phones, they don’t have enough chance to communicate with their friends or parents. Their attentions have been drawn away by the virtual world. Lack of good self-control, they are fragile to the smart phone addiction, while they supposed to focus on their study and work.

　　一些人，特別是青少年，極容易被智能手機吸引。原因有這些：首先，當今社會人們壓力很大，智能手機提供了一個給人們放松的平臺。通過玩小游戲，與朋友語音聊天，看電影聽音樂，人們很容易暫時忘記他們的煩惱。其二，手機上總有新鮮事。有趣的、神秘的、種類繁多的信息吸引著大家打開手機，去了解周圍到底發生了什么。當人們花了太多的時間在手機上時，就沒有足夠的機會去與朋友父母聊天溝通。他們的注意力已被虛擬世界所吸引。缺乏好的自控能力，他們在手機成癮面前弱不禁風。他們理應集中精力在學習和工作上的。

　　I think people should take smart phone addiction seriously. Quitting addiction needs time and patience. People should turn off their phones, go outside and communicate with others face to face. Do more exercise and form optimistic attitude towards life!

　　我認為人們應重視把智能手機成癮癥。戒掉它需要時間和耐心。人們應該關掉手機，走出家門與他人面對面的溝通交流。多做運動，培養樂觀積極的心態!
