With the improvement of living standards, people have more money and desire to travel and the golden week is a good chance for them. Besides, for those people who would not go out, it’s a good time to have a good rest as well. Therefore, the national day means a lot to the Chinese.
10月1日是我國的國慶節，這是全國的共同節日。這一天是中華人民共和國開始的標志。在那天，全國到處都有很多慶祝活動，上至中央政府到普通老百姓。公共場所，包括大的廣場和公園，都裝飾成節日主題。近年，國慶節同樣也是所有人都期待的短假黃金周。隨著生活水平的提高，人們又更多的錢和渴望去旅游，黃金周對他們來說是一個很好的機會。除此之外，對于那些不想外出的人來說同樣也是休息的好時機。因此，國慶節對中國人來說意味著很多。

國慶節那天，秋高氣爽，廣場上的每根燈柱上都掛了彩旗，第棵樹上都掛了彩燈，把廣場裝扮得更加絢麗多彩。早上，廣場的每個角落都已經充滿了歡歌笑語。
在廣場的一邊，為什么那么熱鬧?哦，原來這兒有一個大舞臺，臺上有幾個亭亭玉立的演員在載歌載舞呢。每當臺上表演完一個節目時，臺下的掌聲就像流水一樣連續不斷。
