　　今天下午，值勤過后，我就和同學一起坐43路車回家。車上很擠，我好不容易才找到一個座位，就一屁股坐下了，可以好好的休息一會了。

　　可是，車剛過了一站地，有一位老爺爺上車了，他微微駝背，大概六十多歲的 樣子。我馬上就想到了要給老人讓座，但又轉念一想，自己好不容易才坐下，讓了怪可惜的。

　　怎么辦啊?到底是 讓還是不讓?我想，身為一個少先隊員，如果我不讓的話，那又怎么對得起我胸前的紅領巾呢?不能再想了，我一定要讓。于是，我站起來，說：“爺爺，您來坐吧!”只見爺爺笑了笑，然后慢慢地坐下，并對我說：“真是好孩子!”我聽了以后，心里也樂了，因為我做到了。

　　雖然我失去了一個供我休息的座位，但是，我卻得到了表揚的話語和愉快的心情，這是多么快樂呀!

　　尊老愛幼是我們中華民族的傳統美德，我們一定要讓這種精神繼續發揚光大!

People also believe that climbing mountains can expel bad luck, and indicates “climbing to a higher position” and “longevity”. China designates the ninth day of the ninth month as Senior ‘s Day , which combine tradition with modern times subtly to turn it into a festival for respecting , caring about , loving , and helping the elderly people .
