As we all know, water is essential in our daily life. We drink water every day, we use water to wash things and cook food, we also use water to make machines. People can't live without water.
Though about 75% of the earth is covered with water, only 3% of it is fresh water. So we must save water by having a shower instead of a bath. We can save water by fixing dripping taps immediately and we can also save water by not washing under a running tap.
我們都知道水對于日常生活的重要性。我們每天喝水，用水洗東西和烹制食物，我們還用水來制造機器。離開水，人類就無法存活。
雖然地球75%都被水覆蓋，但其中只有3%是淡水。所以我們應該用淋浴代替泡澡來節(jié)約水，同時及時修好滴水的水龍頭，并且不要開著水龍頭洗東西。

We live in the earth. There is water around the surface of the earth, and we can’t live without water. We drink water everyday, even in the food, it is said that there is a lot of water in it, even though we can’t see it. People will die if they don’t drink water in the long term. Water is so important,so we need to protect it from pollution.

Water Pollution 水污染
With the development of industry, water pollution is becoming more serious now. The polluted water not only kills fish, it is also harmful to our health. Many people get sick because they drink the polluted water. In some rivers the water is so dirty that they can even kill plants.
We should fight against the pollution. We should stop using harmful things. I wish it is not a dream that in the near future we can have clean rivers again.

As we know , water is very important to man. we can’t live without water. The amount of water which is suitable to drink is less and less. But some people don’t care about it .They waste a lot of water in their daily life. Even worse, they pour dirty water in to rivers. They throw rubbish into rivers , too. Many rivers and lakes are seriously polluted. Something must be done to stop the pollution. Only in this way can we live happily. If we don’t save water, the last drop of water will be a tear-drop of us.

Almost everyone knows that water covers three-fourths of the earth's surface. Most of it， however， is in the oceans and is too salty to drink. Also， some of it is frozen and cannot be used. In fact， less than one percent is left for the use of people， animals and plant life. All through history men have tried to build their homes near the sources of fresh water. Now fresh water is becoming scarce， but more and more is needed because of the increasing number of people in the world. Some industries also use large amounts of fresh water in the production of things such as steel， petroleum， paper and rubber and so on. Scientists estimate that the need for fresh water will have doubled by the year 20xx. If they are correct， we must find new ways of saving it or producing it. Some nations have worked on the problem and are already sharing their information with others. They are trying to keep their rivers from becoming polluted. Deep wells are also being dug， and rain water is being collected in huge artificial lakes. In one way or another， they hope to provide enough water to satisfy the needs of their people.
