　　在一個國家中個人是主體。對于個人來說什么最重要呢?我想首先應該是具備文明素質，只有當每一個人都具備了文明素質，那么這個國家的整體素質才能提高。

　　不久前，曾看到這樣一則報道，說的是新加坡，新加坡是一個通用英語的國家，這個國家的公共場所的各種標語大多是用英語書寫。但其中的一些文明禮貌的標語，如“不準隨地吐痰”、“禁止吸煙”、“不準進入草坪”等卻用中文書寫。為什么呢?人家回答：“因為有這些不文明行為的大多數是中國大陸的游客。”為此，到新加坡考察的一位中學校長語重心長地說：“不文明行為也是國恥。” 不知大家是否記得，中央電視臺曾經報道，國慶節后的天安門廣場，隨處可見口香糖殘跡，40萬平方米的天安門廣場上竟有60萬塊口香糖殘渣，有的地方不到一平方米的地面上，竟有9塊口香糖污跡，密密麻麻的斑痕與天安門廣場的神圣和莊嚴形成了強烈反差。

　　以上的兩個事例表明，文明其實是由細節構成的，反思我們的所作所為可見文明離我們還有一段距離。在我們身邊，在一部分同學身上，還存在著一些不文明的行為。例如，在我們的校園內、樓梯上總能見到與我們美麗的校園極不和諧的紙屑，教室里、校園內食品袋、方便面盒隨處可見，甚至有的同學認為：反正有值日的同學和清潔工打掃，扔了又何妨;再例如有的同學在教學樓走廊上追逐打鬧，走路推推搡搡習以為常;還有部分同學相互之間講臟話、粗話，隨意攀爬樹枝，甚至還有個別同學故意損壞學校的公共財物。我們很多同學把文化知識的學習放在首位，而常常忽略了社會公德的培養，文明習慣的養成，而這恰恰從本質上展現出一個人的思想品質。事實上，良好的行為習慣，是保證我們順利學習的前提，也是樹立健康人格的基礎。在學校沒有良好的行為習慣的同學就可能目無紀律，不講衛生，擾亂班級的學習環境。相反，如果我們養成了文明的行為習慣，學習環境就一定是良好的、有序的。我們知道：一個學校的學生具有良好的文明行為習慣，才能構建出優良的學習環境，創設出優良的學習氣氛。

　　現在，我們正處于人生中最關鍵的成長時期，我們在這個時期的所作所為，將潛移默化的影響到我們自身的心理素質，而文明的行為就在幫助我們提高自身的心理素質，同時也完善了自身的道德品質，如果我們不在此時抓好自身道德素質的培養，那我們即使擁有了豐富的科學文化知識，于人于己于社會又有何用呢?所以，我們首先應該做一個堂堂正正的人，一個懂文明、有禮貌的謙謙君子，然后才是成才，不能做一部單純掌握知識技能的機器，而要成為一個身心和諧發展的人。文明就是我們素質的前沿，擁有文明，那我們就擁有了世界上最為寶貴的精神財富。

　　記得一位名人曾說：德行的實現是由行為構成的，而不是由文字。無數事例表明，走向事業輝煌、開創成功人生的關鍵是高尚的情操。代表民族未來的我們，需要學習和繼承的東西有很多很多， 然而最基本的問題是：我們究竟要以什么樣的精神風貌，什么樣的思想品質和什么樣的道德水準去接過人類文明的接力棒。

　　南開大學校長在鏡子上寫了一句箴言：“面必爭，發必理，衣必整，鈕必結，頭容正，肩容平，胸容寬，背容直，氣象勿傲勿怠，顏色宜和宜靜宜裝。” 作為一個中學生，我們必須明白自己的儀表起碼必須符合學校的氣氛和學生的身份，保持大方、得體的儀表，是對老師同學的一種尊重。

　　要養成良好的文明習慣，做文明學生。那么請我們每一個人管住我們的口，不說粗話、不隨地吐痰;管住我們的手，不亂扔垃圾、不打架斗毆;管住我們的腳，不踐踏草坪。我相信，經過我們全體師生共同努力，一定會營造出一個文明美好的校園。試想假如全國每一個校園都共同創建文明校園，那么我們民族的整體素質將大大提高，國家的綜合實力將會大大加強，祖國的未來一定是繁榮昌盛、燦爛輝煌!

　　China and the ASEAN countries, with their combined population totaling 1.7 billion, are showing their great momentum of development. It is beyond doubt that the decision of paramount significance to set up a China-ASEAN free trade area within the next decade, which was advocated at the fifth China-ASEAN summit, will usher in a new era for economic cooperation and development in the region. //
