二、單元教材分析
本單元主要圍繞“尋找物品”這個話題展開教學，同時給學生介紹了動詞be的過去式was，were。本單元安排的教學情景貼近學生的生活，從運動會入手，引出尋找物品這一話題，語言的交際性和實用性均較強。教師在教學時，應先從學生會說的語言材料開始，在比較自然真實的情景中過渡到新句型，同時要注意利用身邊的資源來引導學生開展生動活潑的交際活動，在此基礎上學習課文并引導學生進行拓展表演。

二、單元教材分析
本單元主要圍繞“談論節日里所做的事”這個話題展開各項活動。這是一個學生很感興趣的話題。為了讓學生在課堂上“有話想講，有話可講”，老師可以在課前布置學生搜集有關東西方節日風俗的資料。在此過程中，老師要提出具體要求，如收集的途徑、發言的時間、人數等……。
