第四課時：b let's learnlet’s chant c story time
教學目標：
（1）通過學習，能夠聽說讀寫單詞： kind funny young smart active
（2）掌握單詞 strict principal university student
（3）初步掌握句型: is she/ he ……? 以及回答。
了解story time故事情節。
教學重點:
let's learn部分的單詞kind funny young smart active strict principal university student ，從音形義理解并能夠在表達中靈活運用，四會單詞要求學生正確拼寫。
教學難點：單詞strict principal university的發音以及四會單詞的書寫和拼寫。
教具準備：
(1) 教學掛圖，單詞卡片
(1)錄音機以及錄音帶或者cd
(2)頭飾.
教學過程：
1.warm-up:
let’s sing “my new teacher”
復習鞏固上一節課學習的歌曲，營造英語學習氣氛，通過單詞替換，復習所本單元學單詞。同時熟悉句型is she/ he ……? 教師可以在歌曲單詞替換練習時板書a部分學習過的單詞kind young funny 因為這三個單詞在b部分為四會單詞。
2. presentation
(1) 教授新詞匯，
教師出示圖片并使用已學句型what’s he /she like ? 來學習單詞 smart strict active 。
如： 教師出示圖片3
t: what’s he like?
s: he’s strict.
學習單詞strict 。
將這三個單詞與在復習歌曲my new teacher時板書的單詞kind young funny 放在一起學習，鞏固。教師可以通過tpr活動來鞏固這六個描述人物外貌特征和性格特征的單詞。如，讓學生通過面目表情表演來體驗這些單詞的含義。還可以通過比賽的方式讓每組選派代表來表演不同的性格，外貌特征，比比誰演的最形象逼真。或者讓學生表演，大家來猜猜是哪一個詞匯。通過游戲，待學生單詞掌握基本牢固后，教師可以接著教授新詞匯：principal university student 。
小比賽
四會的單詞可以進行拼讀，比如師生比賽的形式：t : ~,can you spell “strict” ? 學生拼寫，然后學生也可以反問老師，看誰更快更好。注意：教師可以故意拼慢點，給學生一些信心。
e.g. t : can you spell “ strict” ? s: can you spell “ kind” ?
課件4、u1-learn b：
一個小電視，右邊從上到下紅、黃、綠三個按鈕
① 點紅按鈕出現人物形象
② 點黃按鈕出現人物身份和形容詞
③ 點綠按鈕出現一句描述的話語
第一組：
principal
strict and kind
miss lin
miss lin is our principal. she’s strict. but she’s very kind.
第二組：
mr. qian
science teacher; young and smart;
mr. qian is our new science teacher. he’s young and smart. he’s an university student.
第三組：
mr. ding
music teacher; funny and active;
mr. ding is our music teacher. he's funny and active. he’s class is so much fun,.
(2) let’s learn
教師出示圖片，播放錄音或者cd 讓學生認真聽，仔細理解。之后教師可以提問:
t: is miss lin a principal?ss: yes.
t: is she young?ss: no, she’s old.
