教學(xué)內(nèi)容：b. look, read and learn. c. work in pairs教學(xué)目的：
1.能聽懂、會說、會讀、和會拼寫單詞tall, young, old, heavy。
2.能聽、說、讀懂本單元中所學(xué)的形容詞及比較級。
3.能聽、說、讀句型who’s taller than? is taller than。
教學(xué)重點(diǎn)：
1.掌握本部分所學(xué)的形容詞及其比較級，并能運(yùn)用于情景中。
2.掌握句型“who’s… than…? whose…is…?”。
教學(xué)難點(diǎn)：了解并掌握形容詞比較級在語音與字形上的變化。
教具準(zhǔn)備：
錄音機(jī).磁帶.相關(guān)實(shí)物.圖片等
教學(xué)過程：
step 1 warm up.
1. listen to a song: i wish i was taller
2. greetings
3. free talk
可圍繞以下句型與不同學(xué)生展開：hello. good morning! nice to see you at new term. how old are you now? oh, you’re younger than me. look, he is tall. who’s taller than him? look at my scarf. it’s long. the scarf is longer than this ruler（隨著手拿一尺子）…
step2 presentation
1. learn long, longer
①由free talk引出long, longer.并出示單詞指導(dǎo)生朗讀，并比較兩詞區(qū)別其間教師不斷地出示實(shí)物，邊比較邊發(fā)音long-longer.
②practice in pairs
指導(dǎo)生利用現(xiàn)有實(shí)物練說long-longer
2. learn whose…is…, yours or mine?
①教師將圍巾與學(xué)生圍巾放在一起問：whose scarf is longer, yours or mine?并指導(dǎo)生回答。
②practice in pairs
生利用現(xiàn)有實(shí)物進(jìn)行問答練習(xí)
③ss act.
3. learn old-older, young-younger
①出示圖畫，引導(dǎo)生觀察，隨機(jī)出示兩組單詞指導(dǎo)生朗讀。
②操練句型： who’s…than…?
師隨意問兩個同學(xué)的年齡后；指著兩個學(xué)生問其他學(xué)生：who’s older/ younger than…?并引導(dǎo)生回答。
4.出示單詞：tall-taller, short-shorter, small-smaller
①引導(dǎo)學(xué)生根據(jù)發(fā)現(xiàn)的規(guī)律進(jìn)行練讀。
②總結(jié)比較級一般情況下的發(fā)音與書寫規(guī)律。
5.出示big, fat, thin, heavy
①鼓勵生寫出比較級，并適當(dāng)出示正確單詞。
②強(qiáng)調(diào)特殊情況下比較級單詞的變化規(guī)律。
③指導(dǎo)朗讀。
5.拼讀old, young, tall, heavy
step3 consolidation
1. listen to the tape and read after the tape.
2. look and read
出示圖片進(jìn)行比較，指導(dǎo)生認(rèn)讀。
3. work in pairs
①picture 1-2，出示掛圖，師示范并隨機(jī)板書句子。
②groups work.
出示相關(guān)圖片，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進(jìn)行替換練習(xí)。
step 4 homework
1. listen to the tape and repeat.（b部分）
2. write the words of pant b two times.
3. make dialogues use the words.
