第三環節：閱讀與理解。這一環節是本模塊的中心內容，也是本課時的重難點。我采用了以下步驟。
第一步、在課件中通過呈現照片使學生對課文中的三位老師產生親切感。然后讓學生帶著reading activity1中的兩個問題，進行聽力訓練，使學生初步感知課文內容，訓練學生的聽力撲捉能力，為進一步的閱讀理解打下基礎。

第二步、通過兩人結隊活動pair work，進一步閱讀課文，互相幫助解決語言形式引起的理解問題，并對比三位老師的個性和風格，快速查找信息，有梯度地討論和回答reading activity中的有關問題，全面了解課文內容。

第三步、全班分為三大組，對課文進行小結，培養學生的合作精神和總結能力。利用表格進行讀書摘記，使課文內容化繁為簡，思路清晰，易于對比三位老師的個性特征和教學風格。

第四環節：寫作與交流。 這一環節屬于學生語言能力的拓展、知識的靈活運用。通過呈現學生身邊任課教師的真實照片，讓學生運用所學詞句描述自己熟悉的老師特征。通過這一寫作練習，使學生把所學語言運用于實踐當中。
通過以上各個環節的設計與實施，從多方面強化語言技能的訓練，全面培養學生的綜合英語能力。

第五環節：作業的設計與布置。為培養學生探究式學習能力，在作業設計中，分為課內和課外開放式作業兩種。鼓勵他們積極參加學校網站優秀教師評選征集活動，從而強化學生自主合作探究的能力。
