一、引言
自我評價是指在個人內(nèi)部就其自身的狀態(tài)進行縱向比較所做的價值判斷。學生自我評價是學生個體對自己學習表現(xiàn)的認識與評判，自我評價在學生的學習活動中具有十分重要的作用，這種作用的本質(zhì)就是使學生為自己的學習承擔責任，因而能使學生更加主動，學習更加有效和更加持久，通過學生的自我認識和自我反思，教師可以更清楚地掌握學生的真實想法，從學生反思的前進的腳步中為自己找到進一步努力的教學目標，幫助教師進行教學決策。
二、調(diào)查對象與研究方法
本研究調(diào)查對象為筆者所教高職06級2個班、07級2個班、08級2個班，共6個班，涉及5種專業(yè)的227名學生。采用了定性研究方法，在一學年的學習結(jié)束后每位學生以“自我評價及對英語學習的看法”為題寫一篇個人總結(jié)。
三、分析與結(jié)果
歷經(jīng)三年，跨越三屆學生，我們最后將收集到的學生自我評價進行分類整理，得出如下結(jié)果： 2.學習興趣。（1）厭煩。據(jù)調(diào)查顯示，有學生明確表示不喜歡英語，厭煩英語，缺乏積極的學習情感體驗。（2）喜歡。有學生明確表示喜歡英語，這其中一部分是從開始就喜歡，覺得學英語挺快樂的；另一部分是由于老師而改變了態(tài)度。（3）中立。大部分學生居于中間狀態(tài)，是為了應付考試而學，能夠按時上課，積極配合老師，按時按量地完成作業(yè)。 4.學習毅力和自控力。大部分學生學習的毅力和自控力較差，懶惰是他們的通病。不論是成績好的還是差的學生都不避諱自己的缺點，都意識到懶惰是他們提高英語水平的絆腳石。有的靠吃老本,覺得自己有點小聰明，加上初中的底子就混過去了。有的認為英語跟不上的原因是早上沒有晨讀，英語單詞讀不下去，懶于讀書，對待英語的心態(tài)不積極。

6.對英語教學的評價。有的學生認為目前的英語教學就是為了應付考試，忽視口語的重要性，但也有學生希望提高口語水平，還建議專門開設口語課。
四、學生自我評價對高職英語教學的啟示
1.設置適當?shù)哪繕伺c任務，讓學生不斷體驗成功。幫助學生樹立繼續(xù)前進的自信心是高職英語教師的首要任務。高職英語教學過程中，老師必須了解學生的狀況，明白學生已有的知識能力水平，明確教學目標，尋找學生的興趣所在，設定適當任務，要創(chuàng)造機會讓學生多一些成功的經(jīng)驗，鼓勵他們，使學生不斷體驗成功,不斷增強英語學習的自我效能感，使學生可以達到目標，使其能看到自己的進步。
2.培養(yǎng)學生的興趣，使其有正確的學習心態(tài)及目標。關(guān)注和改善學生的心理素質(zhì)，激活學生學習英語的態(tài)度顯得尤為重要。培養(yǎng)學生興趣，可以在教學中挖掘教學內(nèi)容的新穎性和情趣因素，精心設計教學的每一個基本環(huán)節(jié)，改進教法，使學生“易學、樂學、善學”。讓學生了解英語是能夠幫助更好更快實現(xiàn)人生夢想的重要工具。對自卑、缺乏自信、處于焦慮中的學生，要讓他們了解英語是一種技能，通過單純的模仿就可以掌握，只要具有正常人的智力，就肯定能夠掌握英語。所以，每個英語學習者都應該樹立信心，一旦有信心，就不會有畏難情緒，就能一直堅持學習，直到掌握英語。
3.重視學生的基礎，傳授學習方法，培養(yǎng)學習習慣。大部分進入職業(yè)學院的學生英語基礎薄弱,沒有養(yǎng)成良好的學習習慣。要想提高學生的成績，需要狠抓基礎知識的掌握與落實，查漏補缺。只有重視學生的基礎才能達到教育的實際效應。例如，對于造成大多數(shù)學生英語學習困難的根源之一——詞匯量的欠缺，要引導學生采用有效的學習詞匯的策略，包括查閱英語辭典、大量閱讀課本以外的書籍等。
學習方法是教學中的一個重要的基本因素。教師要關(guān)注學生獨特的個性，根據(jù)教學目標和學生的學習情況指導他們選擇正確有效的學習方法。與此同時，教師要幫助學生認識英語學習規(guī)律，形成英語學習習慣，這樣才能花最少的時間和精力而達到最大的效果。因為英語學習成功最重要的因素和最可靠的保證是具有良好的英語學習習慣。在教學中，教師的主導性越強，學生的主體性就越強。相反，教師的主導性越差，學生的主體性就越差。教的本質(zhì)在于引導，引導學生辨明方向，喚起其內(nèi)在的精神動力，鼓勵其不斷前進。
4.與學生交朋友。了解學生才能幫助學生。所謂“親其師信其道”“為益友者方能為良師”。走近學生，走近學生的內(nèi)心世界，學會傾聽、欣賞、贊美學生，才能贏得他們的信賴，繼而演化為學生內(nèi)心認定的先決條件，使學生產(chǎn)生“向師性”。正如一名學生在總結(jié)中所寫的一段令人印象深刻的話：“我認為我們不應該因為他們的學習好與壞而失去人性內(nèi)心深處的關(guān)懷和仁愛，教學不僅僅是傳遞知識，更多的是其背后所流露的那份情感，表面看情感是一種關(guān)懷，實際上他是一種動力，正因為人們享受這么一種權(quán)利，他才有可能帶著感恩的心去回報，而為了回報他就會盡可能的投老師所好去學習，因為這是感恩的回饋。”
一名優(yōu)秀的教師應該以豐富的學識引導人、以高超的教學藝術(shù)打動人、以充滿愛的懷抱呵護人。對于高職生更應如此，學好英語固然重要，但我們首先要幫助他們樹立自信，掌握正確的學習方法，獲得學習的能力。
5.因人而異，區(qū)別評價。長期以來對于學生的評價大多是以鑒定為目的的終結(jié)性評價。這種評價已不能適應新形勢下社會對高職人才的多規(guī)格、多樣化要求，不能體現(xiàn)學生的動態(tài)發(fā)展變化，很難發(fā)現(xiàn)和發(fā)展學生的潛能，阻礙學生認識自我、建立自信。筆者認為，對高職生除了強調(diào)學習個體的學習動機、個人努力程度、學習態(tài)度等主觀因素外，還應重視學習個體的英語能力傾向以及生理、心理等方面的個體差異。為了避免弱勢群體自知無望而陷入無窮的自卑的情況出現(xiàn)，對他們的要求不應過高，而應給予他們足夠的愛和期待。對于基礎相對較好的學生則鼓勵他們向高一級目標進軍，使他們的潛能得到最大限度的挖掘。評價不僅看學科成績，更應注重學生的綜合素質(zhì)是否通過教育得到了提高。
因此，要在高職教育領(lǐng)域探索如何具體應用多元化學生評價，從學習態(tài)度、完成學習任務、方法和成績等多方面對學生的學習情況進行評估，取消純粹以考分評估學習狀況的做法。例如，像語言知識和技能，可以用常規(guī)的語言測試進行評價和檢測；對于情感和策略等學生內(nèi)在發(fā)展狀態(tài)的評價，可以通過對同學進行問卷調(diào)查、學生自評、互評等方式來進行持續(xù)評價。評價要保護學生的自尊心，體現(xiàn)尊重和賞識；評價要關(guān)注學生知識差異，也要關(guān)注學生情感差異，更要關(guān)注學生個體差異。教學過程中的評價應該能幫助學生克服困難，熟悉不足，反思與調(diào)控，恢復自信，提高學習能力，化弱勢為強勢。

近幾年，無論是觀摩優(yōu)秀課堂還是學習前言教學理念，總有那熟悉的一幕回蕩在腦海———請同學們對已經(jīng)完成的學習任務進行自我評價（ABC等第）；同學們開始自我評價剛才的朗讀情況（一、二、三顆星）；請自我評價一下你們的小組活動（成功、失敗）等。學生自我評價的形式雖然新穎別致，但簡單的星級制或等級類評比真的能準確反饋他們的學習情況嗎？小學生能通過自我評價提升認識、進一步改進學習嗎？筆者經(jīng)過反復學習比較，分析出以下幾種美麗陷阱，提醒同行們謹慎避之。
一、評價目標一致，卻籠而統(tǒng)之
自我評價是指個人自我觀察后按照自我確定的行為標準評判自己的行為。在小學英語教學中，學生的自我評價意識只是出于萌芽階段，無論是學習活動還是學習方法、學習策略，基本都是在教師的指引下一步步開展的。因而教師雖然有意識地在理念和形式上強調(diào)學生的自我評價，其實根本上還是籠而統(tǒng)之的限定性評價。例如，在學習fruit這一話題時，學生的第一關(guān)自評是能否認讀水果單詞；第二關(guān)自評是能否正確拼寫水果單詞的單復數(shù)；第三關(guān)自評是能否用所學詞匯進行熟練對話。在限定的評價中，學生自然只能選擇某一項評價。因此，班中的優(yōu)等生通過評價認為自己已經(jīng)完成了學習任務，不再有新的目標和要求，更不知學習方法或?qū)W習策略還有不足之處。相反，班中的學困生永遠只能作最低的自我評價，這種限定的評價并沒有給予學生鼓勵和信心，反而早早地讓學生有了學生群體分層、分類的概念。
學生之間的差異更加明顯，甚而導致英語學習上的兩極分化日趨嚴重。因而，有時評價目標的一致必定也代表了它自身的限制性，教師的引導性評價要更慎重。
二、評價方式多樣，卻流于形式
自我評價不僅是對學習結(jié)果的檢測，其本身也是一種重要的學習手段。然而，小學生的自我評價水平有限，必須依靠教師的正確指導才能明確為什么要進行自我評價，評價目標是什么，評價方式是什么。一般來說，評價的方式主要有量化表，寫學習日記（反思），建立學習檔案，作業(yè)展示等。但在小學階段，在老師的指導下，形式主要體現(xiàn)為量化表。比如星級制（一顆星至五顆星），等級制（ABC等第），是非制（是或者否）等。在低年級教學中，學生對星級制的評價還是比較感興趣的，因為低年級學生愛表揚，喜比較，能得到多少不一的小紅星，學習成功感很容易獲得。但是，對于中高年級的學生而言，小紅星的吸引力就不大了，他們有自我保護意識，也有學習上的焦慮，更有辨別學習簡易的能力。這些自評方式既沒有發(fā)展學生的認知、提高學生學習的興趣，幫助學生分析問題，更沒有培養(yǎng)學生的思維方法，提高學生的綜合素質(zhì)。學生們只是在回答老師換種形式的問題而已，何來的評價后發(fā)展。
三、評價內(nèi)容豐富，卻缺乏反饋
隨著課程改革的不斷深入，教育評價改革也提出了“多元化評價”的理念。評價內(nèi)容不僅包括學習任務的'達成度，還應包括：學習動機、學習態(tài)度、學習策略和學習效果的自我認定。然而在實際教學中，在教學測試的指揮棒影響下，教師往往只關(guān)注學習任務方面學生的自我評價，對學習動機、策略等方面的評價指導較少，反饋更少，因而教師對學生的自我評價指導有時只是流于形式和表面化，導致評價結(jié)果比較片面和模糊，令學生產(chǎn)生心理壓力。就如小學高年級letter話題學習中，學生可以對自己的學習進行自我評價：
能看懂筆友的英文書信；能辨別中西書信格式的不同；能把自己的學習或生活情況用英文回復給筆友等。但在評價過后，很多教師并不能根據(jù)學生的個性差異進行針對性的反饋與指導。學生的學習態(tài)度、學習動機也基本沒有什么變化。因而，無論是教師評價還是學生自我評價，評價后的反思與改進才是最重要的。
四、評價主體明確，卻因人而異
教學需要評價，尤其需要教者與學者的自我評價。沒有評價的教是盲目的教，不重視自我評價的學，則是被動地學。在實際教學中，雖然大家已經(jīng)有了生本的概念，但實際操作起來，卻因人而異。由于小學生的年齡和心理特點，判斷事物的辨析力和自我評價的能力都比較薄弱，因而我們所期待的評價過程、評價結(jié)果、評價反饋與發(fā)展都并不理想。例如，在自我評價環(huán)節(jié)，有的高年級學生是“報喜不報憂”，對自己的評定等級總是A等；有的同學長期受自卑心理影響，以及對英語學習興趣的降低，對自己的評定等級又總是C等或D等；有的學生是從眾心理，看見別人如何評價就如法炮制地給自己隨便定了一個等第；還有的學生自以為“謙虛是美德”，從而給自己較低的評價。因而，此時的自我評價對教者和學者而言都沒有實際的參考意義，隨心所欲的自我評定并沒有強調(diào)科學的自評方法和用真實的反饋指導來加以檢測。
綜上所述，在英語教學中要讓小學生實施個體自我評價顯然不是件容易的事。一個學生的自我評價能力越強，他的學習主動性也越強，學習成功的可能性也越高。而對于學習習慣、學習策略等尚且出于養(yǎng)成階段的小學生而言，學生的自我評定絕對是離不開老師的悉心指導和培養(yǎng)的。因此教師更要排除萬難，避開陷阱，在教學中有計劃、有目的、有步驟地逐步培養(yǎng)學生的自我評價能力，最終幫助學生養(yǎng)成自我反思、自我教育、自我發(fā)展的良好習慣。
