　　1. 參觀和考察學(xué)校

　　預(yù)約參觀考察學(xué)校(首先進(jìn)入學(xué)校的，先注冊(cè)，然后通過(guò)郵件在網(wǎng)上預(yù)約參觀學(xué)校的時(shí)間，一般學(xué)校都需要你提前預(yù)約，也可以自己接打電話預(yù)約)。收到回信按預(yù)約時(shí)間訪問(wèn)學(xué)校，會(huì)有招生辦的老師帶領(lǐng)參觀校園然后幫助你了解相關(guān)學(xué)校信息。

　　2. 網(wǎng)上提交申請(qǐng)材料

　　確定學(xué)校后就可以在提交申請(qǐng)材料，學(xué)校的通常都會(huì)有完善的申請(qǐng)流程，按照提示和要求來(lái)就好。學(xué)校收到遞交材料后如果有不完善的地方仍然會(huì)通過(guò)郵件形式與家長(zhǎng)溝通，所以記得時(shí)常看看郵箱以及垃圾郵件箱。

　　3. 等待面試通知

　　從申請(qǐng)到收到面試通知這個(gè)過(guò)程會(huì)比較漫長(zhǎng)，至少一個(gè)月，兩個(gè)月也完全有可能。

　　參加學(xué)校面試后，不會(huì)立馬有結(jié)果，通常等上一個(gè)月兩個(gè)月都很正常。所以建議你至少提前半年開(kāi)始辦理申請(qǐng)。泰國(guó)開(kāi)學(xué)時(shí)間一般都在八月份，一個(gè)學(xué)年分四個(gè)學(xué)期，平均兩個(gè)月為一學(xué)期。

In thepast， I have had the experience of working in settings where the people and thecorporate cultures of the companies were all different. I have found that thereis a great difference in the both the behaviors of people and of theirorganizations， depending on whether they are state-owned enterprises (SOEs)，large multinational firms， or small to medium sized foreign enterprises. Onesimple example is that of the ability of an employee to act independentlywithout direct instructions from his or her boss. In many Chinese organizations，acting without direct instructions is considered a form of disrespect towardsthe supervisor， who is generally offended by such behavior. In my experience andresearch， such organizations tend to have low operating efficiency with theemployees losing their innate ability to take the initiative.

At the end of these excursions， our faces andlimbs would be numb， and we would all have developed those notorious flu-likesymptoms; but the running made us better in the long run， I suppose.Nevertheless， I counted down the days until the end of the field hockey season，vowing never to put on a pair of running shoes again. Then I surprised myself bysigning up for outdoor track in the second half of sophomore year. I was foolishto have believed that I could ever escape this insidious and magneticaddiction。

　　Anyone would have thought that I'd be off the team in a few days， but thelast week of January caught me splashing through puddles of melted ice， andFebruary winds nearly blew me off the track. I looked forward to practices thistime around， to the claps and the persistent cheers of my fellow trackies. I wasfeeling a "runner's high" spurred by the endorphins released by exercise. But toattribute my affinity for running solely to chemistry diminishes the personalimportance that running has for me。

　　I like running—in the cool shade of the towering oak trees， and in the warmsunlight spilling over the horizon， and in the drops of rain falling gently fromthe clouds.
