工作幾年來，曾有很多同事、朋友跟我說，當老師太清貧了，還是換個工作吧。那時侯，我不以為然。我認為，教師是一個平凡而又偉大的職業，是播種希望、點亮明天的事業，就算清貧點，但是，那種桃李滿天下的喜悅是常人難以體會的。而且我相信，我們的學校處在全國聞名的教育強區，教師的待遇一定會提高的。
然而，現實的壓力是如此的巨大。家庭的壓力，經濟的壓力，壓得讓我無法喘息。每一次大張旗鼓的加工資，只是讓我的經濟壓力又增大一層。我為人子，父母為我付出了太多太多，而我卻回報的太少太少。看著日益衰老的父母，而我，卻在廣州連自己的一片瓦也找不到，又怎能讓父母有個比較安心的晚年呢？
想了好久好久，我決定告別我深愛的教育事業，告別給我溫暖和關懷的xx中學。所以，鄭重的在此，向尊敬的領導提出辭職。非常感謝領導的關心和理解。在接下來的工作時間里，我會繼續認真的工作，協助做好相關工作的交接，站好最后一班崗。
